Carrie's Conscious Recovery Program: Life & Birth Trauma Healing has changed the trajectory of my life and my family's lives. Carrie is compassionate, wise, and has enormous professional knowledge in her field. But perhaps the most extraordinary thing she has to offer, and what has impacted my motherhood journey the most, is her humility and excitement in coming alongside the work I was already doing to heal from my first birth experience and intentionally prepare for the second birth experience. She has answers but doesn't claim to have them all; she has ideas but is most interested in hearing what her clients' vision and hopes are; she can share from a deep place of personal experience with healing but has found her mission in nurturing the experiences of others. My second birth, on the surface, didn't go at all like I had planned, but because Carrie and I had worked together to envision what mattered far below the surface, the arrival of baby number two was still the fulfillment of all my hopes. She was an absolutely essential part of my birth team. I can't recommend her Conscious Recovery Program enough and can only wish every mama had the chance to work with someone as special as Carrie.
